Espn world cup2010 schedule
The 2010 World Cup starts tomorrow morning, and I couldn't be more excited. Play throughout the first five days is generally scheduled alphabetically, and some matchups on the first go-round are especially juicy.
The tourney kicks off with the home team, South Africa, taking on Mexico at 9:30am EDT. Crowd support is sure to be off the charts for the "Bafana Bafana," but the Mexican squad is dangerous. The other half of Group A will follow, with 1998 champion France taking on Uruguay at 2pm. You can watch both games either live on ESPN or stream it on ESPN3.com.
Saturday's action is packed tight. South Korea meets Greece at 7am on ESPN/ESPN3.com, followed right away by Lionel Messi leading Argentina against Nigeria at 9:30am on the same stations. Then the marquee matchup of the day will take place on ABC, as England takes on the USA at 1:30pm.
Other highlights of the first go-round include defending champion Italy opening against Paraguay June 14 at 2pm on ESPN/ESPN3.com.
There is absolutely no excuse to miss any games in the 2010 World Cup! Of the 64 games making up the Cup, 52 will be shown on either ESPN or ESPN2, with the other 12 being shown live on ABC. All 52 games on the ESPN network can also be streamed live on ESPN3.com. So even if you're at work, there's no reason for you to miss a second. source ESPN
